The Fultz

I talked last night with my boy Stew that lives on the west coast. I miss him, Stew is one of the coolest people I know. His heart is so real and the dude is so funny. My brother is one of Stewart’s best friends and talks about him on his widebody blog from time to time. Anyway, after our conversation last night I felt compelled to write this for Stew. If you have ever seen the poetry reading of Mike Meyers in “So I Married An Axe Murderer” then read this poem in that style for its full effect.

Stew

Stew you are my friend

I will say it again

Stew you are my friend

Complexities run

Rampant in you

All of the package

That makes up the Stew

You’re cooler than Parker

More Tattoos than Barker

You’re better than me

On your Axe Flying-V

You are going to move

Why don’t you give in

Back to the Bluff

We need you again

Pack up you’re Toys

Crate you’re dog the Cowboy

Put you’re Marshall in tow

Come back to the home that you know

Play in our band

We’re not worthy we know

But you are the man

I will end my short prose

With a phrase to inspire

I hope this short verse

Will serve to light fires

And bring you back home

To the Bluff that you’ve known

I know you will cry

As I bid you Adieu

With a phrase that you love

May the force be with you (Long Pause…) Stew
